CASE OF YOU

These were taken from a very beautiful day. I met up with my homegirls, we made christmas dinner and played a load of games, the food was yummy.

I had a good Monday yesterday, 2 hour lecture on sexual motivations... was urm a little graphic ha. After uni, i went grocery shopping with some really cool people, they never fail to make me laugh, even if the topic of interest is on something as morbid as suicide. Sarah and her boyfriend bought a tone of food and decided to cook me dinner so i spent the evening with them, we headed to the bar which was night, finally got to eat my onion rings! I don't know whether people think i don't eat or something but i got another offer for my friend to make me dinner one evening this week ha, less washing up for me! This week has started off good. I'm feeling so damn happy at the moment.

I just made the most yummiest tomato spaghetti with salad!

Razzle Red

Finally got round to developing my pictures from London, i remember walking around these populated streets late at night with my best friend, such a simple thing but oh so thrilling. This trip was the best way to end 2011 and seriously got me thinking about 2012. Mel made me realise how happy i am with my life and who i am, i think my idea of being real (in who you are and what you believe in) is the secret ingredient to enjoying life to the fullest, all the little things make you as happy as the big things.

My first week back at university started off relatively slow, but i think that was just because i was getting used to it all again. Thursday was such a lovely day at uni, a group of us spent a few hours in the SU sand then later at night we went to the pub quiz. On Friday we went to the pub again, free food, and it was actually rather yummy. On Saturday, Sarah and I had lunch in revolutions and did a little shopping when we were supposed to be doing work, eventually we did get round to that. It was my friends birthday so we went out into town and i had an amazing night, glad to be reunited with all my university friends again.

Question: If you don't know whether you like someone or not, instantly mean you don't really like them? Friends or more than friends, i honestly don't know.

I'm so happy to be back here at univeristy, it felt like such a relief coming back to my room and it's been lovely to see all my friends again! I spent all of sunday unpacking and catching up with friends while monday i got back to my usual routine. Today i  managed to get done all i planned for, so far so good but it has been rather long so i'm ending my night with blueberrys and tea because they are YUMMMMMMMY. I can't wait for this weekend! Hopefully, i'll be developing 2-3 rolls of film at someone point this week also.

WE MIGHT FEEL UNSOUND

Making blueberry pancakes whilst listening to James Blake is the only real way to start a day right. YUMMY IN MY TUMMY. It's true what Josh said, the simplest things in life are really what make me happiest and i'm learning to understand that is a good thing, i'm an enthusiastic person and i have to accept that. I go back to university this weekend and although i've had such a lovely Christmas home, i cannot wait to be back and see everyone. I really didn't think that just after one term of getting to know people, a separation of 4 weeks would make me miss them all as much as i did.. I'm so excited go back! I've just been catching up on lectures and things this last week, whilst practising yoga, using the last of my film and trying to finish crime and punishment. It has been actually a nice week.

Oh and films to watch (if you haven't already) are Beginners, Dead Poets Society and The Tree of Life, they all changed my mood instantly. The first two inspired me and the last one is hauntingly beautiful, it'll make you think and confuse the hell out of you but it is incredible so watch it!

I best get back to my psychology degree now...

THE STRANGERS

Today i spent getting my assessment done and although i've finished my first draft, i'm not happy with it just yet and will continue to work on it in a few days, it's worth a big percentage so i need to make sure it is really good. However, i woke up majorly late today and spent a lot of my day procastinating again. I'm hoping yoga will teach me self discipline, i get so easily distracted and want to spend my time more efficiently rather then wasting it. The rest of my night consisting of an acedemic plan, i now know what all my future assessments are and when they need to be done, so i'm feeling more confident and organised. Now i just have to file all my past notes and everything will be sorted, almost. Night, i must wake up early tomorrow! x

IT'S REAL

It's difficult to see what is real from false, sometimes we can become so blind that we end up living a life of false constructions. I've always had this obsession with seeing, really seeing what's there and what's the truth. I hate falseness, living in a house full of it can be the most suffocating thing in the world. I want things to be different, to be real and i want that now, i've always been impatient.

This is my Christmas present from my parents! A gorgeous silver necklace with a pearl inside, it reminds me of the sun, a sort of energy embraces from it. It shall encourage me to let me love for life flourish and to never lose the fresh and open perspective i have right now, especially during difficult times. I love it very much.
Today was nice, mostly spent reading an article for my assessment and hopefully tomorrow it shall be written up (well my first draft) and i also managed to fit some yoga in. I'm teaching myself, so far i've learnt the mountain and tree pose, so much harder then i thought! I didn't manage time greatly today, procastinating too much, hopefully tomorrow i will find the will power and be more time efficient. Sweetdreams!

YOU

My best friend and I went on a little trip to LONDON for a few nights. On Wednesday morning we caught the 6.25am coach and arrived at about 9.20, we slept for most of the journey. Surprisingly we managed to make our way to my cousins house without any problems in terms of getting lost or confused with the tube system, it was rather easy actually. We planned to make the most of our time in London, sacrificing sleep if need be, in just under 3 days we visited 2 museums, Trafalgar square, the London eye, the river Thames, Camden lock market, Covent gardens x2, Hyde park (winter wonderland) and Buckingham palace. Each morning we'd have breakfast at a cafe which was such a lovely start to our day. In Trafalgar Square we sat for an hour or 2 talking about how we'd changed over the last 6 months and the wonders of life, like how we want the world to be our home, how we want to be brave and experience life as much as we can while we're young. We made wishes there and then, throwing a penny in the waterfall like we used to do when we were little. It was such a lovely trip, one I'll always remember... I bought a really cute cord skirt i've been wanted for ages, and a couple of rings, bracelets and earnings for myself, also a scarf for my mother and a wallet for my brother.

I spent new years eve at home, my parents had a party so i decided to stay home with my brother and cousins, it was a lovely start to the new year. I am so excited for 2012, i just know and hope it is going to be one of the best years of my life and i can't wait to start living it. Today, my first day of January was spent with my family, we went for a walk, made paper cranes and painted them and started my 500 piece jigsaw. I have 2 weeks left at home and it'll consist of me being organised and getting my work done, whilst planning the year ahead in terms of resolutions and whatnot. I'm actually looking forward to getting some work done
