My best friend and I went on a little trip to LONDON for a few nights. On Wednesday morning we caught the 6.25am coach and arrived at about 9.20, we slept for most of the journey. Surprisingly we managed to make our way to my cousins house without any problems in terms of getting lost or confused with the tube system, it was rather easy actually. We planned to make the most of our time in London, sacrificing sleep if need be, in just under 3 days we visited 2 museums, Trafalgar square, the London eye, the river Thames, Camden lock market, Covent gardens x2, Hyde park (winter wonderland) and Buckingham palace. Each morning we'd have breakfast at a cafe which was such a lovely start to our day. In Trafalgar Square we sat for an hour or 2 talking about how we'd changed over the last 6 months and the wonders of life, like how we want the world to be our home, how we want to be brave and experience life as much as we can while we're young. We made wishes there and then, throwing a penny in the waterfall like we used to do when we were little. It was such a lovely trip, one I'll always remember... I bought a really cute cord skirt i've been wanted for ages, and a couple of rings, bracelets and earnings for myself, also a scarf for my mother and a wallet for my brother.
I spent new years eve at home, my parents had a party so i decided to stay home with my brother and cousins, it was a lovely start to the new year. I am so excited for 2012, i just know and hope it is going to be one of the best years of my life and i can't wait to start living it. Today, my first day of January was spent with my family, we went for a walk, made paper cranes and painted them and started my 500 piece jigsaw. I have 2 weeks left at home and it'll consist of me being organised and getting my work done, whilst planning the year ahead in terms of resolutions and whatnot. I'm actually looking forward to getting some work done
